Review on 💾 X-MEDIA XM-EN3400-BK: Efficient USB 2.0 IDE SATA Aluminum HDD External Enclosure by Marc Gallner

The HD enclosure is very easy to install and use. I've plugged it in for file backups 3 or 4 times in the last 2 years. It worked great the first few times, but kept losing performance during my last backup attempt. I thought it might be my hard drive so I formatted it and lost all data on it. I tried backing up my files again but it kept losing power mid-backup so I just unplugged it and gave up. I recommend skipping this step and just spending $50 and getting a laptop instead of trying to salvage your old computer's hard drive (like I did).
