Review on 🧵 B42 Funlock Coverstitch Machine by Bernette by Barbara Simmons

This machine has four BIG drawbacks. 1) the gap under the foot is only 1/8", yes I measured 2) there is a black feather that should be on the foot but it is offset about 1/4" to the left 3) there there is not enough room behind the needle and thread for the left hand 4 ) There is a 1 inch wire under the looper that just sticks out of nowhere and catches the looper thread. I tried to hem three pieces and the clothes got stuck under my foot and I spent 25 minutes trying to take my clothes off. Even when sewing a thin 6-ounce t-shirt, the machine won't exceed this fine seam allowance. I spent two days trying to figure out if this is user error. I do not think so, I think it's just a faulty machine. I can't deal with these problems.
