Review on 🚲 Swagman CURRENT eBike Approved Hitch Mount Bike Rack: Secure and Convenient Transport Solution for Electric Bicycles by James Kelley

I was looking for a bike rack with a platform to carry our fat tire bikes as well as my commuter bike with fenders, so I needed a rack that would clamp the top tube. I also wanted a trunk that folds towards the car when not in use for convenient garage parking and a trunk that tilts down when the bikes are loaded for access to the tailgate of mine to get Subaru. I also needed a rack that would fit both my car's 1 1/4" receiver and my van's 2" receiver, and the Current had all of those features. I've had this rack for a few months now and still no problems, it's well built, the entire rack is steel and the only plastic parts are the release levers and ratchets for the top tube hooks. The trunk also comes with a cable lock and security pin, and all locks can be opened with a key. The shape of the wheel pans works equally well with fat tires and road bikes, and the bikes are rock solid when installed without rattling or rattling. Before that I tried another bike rack that clamps bikes to the front wheel, but the bikes never felt secure and tended to wobble during movement. For the price, this stand was the best I've tried as most platform stands I've reviewed cost twice as much for these features. The only downside I have is that the frame rattles a bit on bumps when empty, but I would recommend it to anyone looking for a platform frame but don't want to jump on the high prices of top brands.
