Review on Energy Suspension 4 7124R FORD TRAILING by Nathan Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is on my 2006 Ford Focus

Fits my 06 ZX3 although some sights do not include my year model in the application guide. This is the foremost bushing on the rear trailing arm. This is the main pivot point on the chassis and is a fairly large hub. As can be seen in the photo, it was with a lot of lube. My brother and I struggled with the old rubber bushing that was in the trailing arm for a while. Attempting to carve it was slow and we didn't want to damage the body or the pin that goes through the socket. In the end we just hit it with a torch and burned it; it worked great! Results: Difficult to tell the difference, but these particular bushings worked fine on my machine. Although I know that when overweight OEM rubber tends to flex a lot which can lead to loss of alignment. In theory, polyurethane helps with this.
