I was able to connect 2 monitors, a keyboard and a mouse and then computers (3 in my case) and after restarting windows it seems to have collected the appropriate drivers as the switch is working fine. The only thing is that every time I switch from one computer to another, I hear the Windows sound when connecting and disconnecting peripherals, which leads me to believe that the switch does not support virtual connection between monitors, keyboard and mouse. contacted tech support*** which I know is decent because I had to contact them on another 2 computer KVM switch from the same company. OTHER NOTE: I haven't tried this on this 4 computer switch but on a 2 computer switch if a storage device is over the KVM switch your data will be wiped as if you put the storage on a strong magnet . My 1TB external hard drive was destroyed after I put it on a KVM switch. So be careful out there
