These bubble mailers are perfect for small items, and also the perfect size for shipping DVDs. One DVD will fit perfectly in the mailer, and you cannot get two DVDs in one mailer--I tried. The mailers only weigh 0.35 oz each, so they barely add any shipping cost. Plus, they are cheap.especially if you get them on sale, they cost under $0.30 each. I also sometimes use them as protection to wrap smaller items for packaging in a box. I have had no trouble at all with the adhesion of the sticky flap. Once it is stuck down, you will not get it open again. The mailers are pretty thin, so I would not recommend shipping anything fragile or valuable in them. If you are shipping something dark colored, you will be able to see it inside the mailer, but I have never had an issue with the mailers breaking open or anything like that.
