The adapter works great with my Obi 202 and the range is very good through a few walls and up to the second floor. Voice communications are as clear as when connected to a network, and faxes are routed with ease. However, the installation wasn't as easy as I had hoped. The adapter never turned blue after I followed the instructions exactly. I chose to configure the adapter using the Obi GUI. Using a PC/Laptop connected to the same network as Obi, I entered Obi's network address 202. This brings Obi's GUI; From there I selected "ObiWiFi Configuration" from the menu to the left of the GUI. Then from the drop down menu I selected "WiFi Scanning" and Viola! The SSID information for your network should appear in the list. Enter the relevant information and you're done. Don't forget to go back and turn off the wired connection to the Obi and turn the Obi back on so it can get the new wireless IPs.
