This bulb is significantly brighter and slightly smoother than the original bulb on my 2008 Toyota Corolla and fits well. The six LEDs on each side of the lamp point to the left and right sides of the brake bar, resulting in the brake bar being evenly illuminated, much better than the original bulb which was brighter in the center and dimmer on the sides. After looking at all the other LED options on Revain and then working with these bulbs I have concluded that they are the best quality and brightest at the time of writing this article. Too many other light bulbs have lots of tiny LEDs that overheat and flicker, or have a round shape that can cause a bright spot in the center of the brake arm. There is one improvement I think could be made to this bulb: it was brighter to match my taillights (I bought Antline 3157 red and amber LED bulbs for my taillights and turn signals - very happy with these bulbs !). Even with the stock bulbs, the brake rod was darker than the taillights when the brake was applied, and this problem persists (albeit improved). If the three LEDs at the top were removed and an extra row of three LEDs could be squeezed in the middle on either side for a total of 3x3(9) LEDs on each side instead of 2x3(6) LEDs I believe that would increase the brightness and power of these Improve the lightbulb enormously, at least for the brake linkage. This also reduces its excessive height (it's about a quarter of an inch taller than the original lamp).
