Review on 🧲 Master Magnetics Flexible Adhesive 8504: Versatile, Strong, and Easy-to-Apply by Aaron Franklin

This is the second time I buy this product. Like many others, I've used it to turn bumper stickers into more useful magnets for my car and fridge. When I first bought this product a few years ago it came in a plastic tube (which I didn't find particularly problematic - just follow the instructions to flatten the magnetic sheet by attaching it to a flat magnetic surface). The main difference is that there was very little printed instructions or information inside the plastic tube. I didn't mind because the list on the website seemed exhaustive. Now it comes in a printed branded box. Well, the big difference is that the packaging now says it's for "indoor use" (see attached photos). I immediately thought I must have misread the listing and bought the wrong product. But no, it's the same one I bought before. I read the product listing very carefully to see if it mentions it anywhere in the description and hell I don't see anything on this page warning against using this product outdoors. Putting this information on the packaging but not disclosing it before selling the product seems a bit misleading to me. I'm trying to return a product to find a better magnetic sheet. Here's my personal experience with the product and why I was willing to buy it again: It works, but with some caveats. My own use of this product has been fairly minimal. I've only used it for applications where the worst that can happen is losing the magnet on my car's bumper if it fails. I haven't lost any, but only because I've been very careful with my car magnets. I only keep a few in the car, only put them in spots with little or no wind resistance, and always take them off before washing the car or in anticipation of extremely inclement weather. You survived. I don't know if the wording of the product has changed since my last purchase a few years ago or if they just added 'for indoor use' to be on the safe side in case the product fails. In any event, I have used this magnetic sheet discreetly for small outdoor applications in the past, but I will no longer rely on a product that was somewhat misleadingly sold to me.
