Review on PHF Velvet Heavyweight Bedding Burgundy by Andrew Pierceson

I was not presented with this set and had no incentive for this review. I just really love this product. Wow! I am so happy with this purchase. I was looking for a good quality duvet cover set that is attractive, comfortable and breathable. My partner is so hot that I was a little hesitant as to whether the velvet would be too warm for him to sleep on. We bought a burgundy case that's more of a dark rose gold/light burgundy finish. A few other reviewers have posted photos showing that the quilt looks more light pink than the actual listing shows. That's for sure, if you're looking for a deep burgundy red you might be a little disappointed. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the color, which is why I still give it 5 stars. The bedding set is great. One side in this beautiful crumpled velvet and the other side in smooth polyester, incredibly soft and breathable. My partner and I both slept so well last night, neither of us got hot and it felt good to snuggle into this luxurious set. The velvet is by no means thick, which I think helps prevent heat retention. Although I'm on the thin side I can't tell because we have it on the Essential duvet. I thought this detail was worth mentioning if it is an important factor. Also, I usually use a zippered duvet cover, but the button closure is not a problem at all. I really appreciate that the cover has eight internal drawstrings to keep the duvet in place (at least for a king size bed). I would recommend going ahead and buying this set. This is a very reasonable price for the high quality product you are getting. If we run into any issues I will update this review. Otherwise, if it hasn't changed, that means everything is going great!
