Bought to protect against other riders. I drive a lot of trailers and drivers can be very rude. I installed this on my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 and mounted it on top of the windshield to the right of the rearview mirror. I used a square mounting block with tape. I started with a suction cup but it's useless. Hence 4 instead of 5 stars. Works flawlessly so far. I used a Samsung 64G card and it works fine with this device as well. Finding strength is not an easy task. This pickup has three 12V cigarette lighter sockets, only one of which is switched. The other two are constant 12V. I think I'll order a wire set for this and hook it up to the extra fuse box I added. One note I didn't see in the instruction manual was that the video tends to lag a second or two behind what's actually in front of you. No big deal, just a note.
