Slippery and uncomfortable. I really wanted to like these shoes. I am a cook who is on my feet for at least 10 hours. I've had these shoes for breaking in for 3 months and although the wood has softened and bled, the lack of ankle support, slippery soles and painfully stiff leather never went away. I strongly advise the chef not to buy these shoes. They only stick to dry tiles. The tiniest bit of water or grease will burst my shoes! I have a deep bony bruise on my hard wood big toe, my heel is caked from constant slipping when I walk at anything more than a slow waltz, and my pinky nail is blackened from constant rubbing against hard skin. But hey, they look good. I will write to the company for a full refund. Terrible shoes.
