The product is defective. After charging properly, this vacuum cleaner will not work. It turns on and works for about 5 seconds, and then the 'green' light flashes briefly before the device turns off completely. This is what happens with a new machine. The manual doesn't say anything about a "green" indicator instead of the usual "blue" indicator to show charging status. A call to Dyson asking for a replacement two weeks ago resulted in no action. Calling Dyson today did not result in a recording of my original call. Now I have received a UPS RMA number and need to go to the UPS shop to return the Dyson machine. This is a great inconvenience. I have owned the device since November 10th and cannot use it. I cannot recommend this product and am disappointed with the support response I received from Dyson.
