Corrosion of wires in outdoor lighting
In the kit I received, one wire was completely rusted in half. Checking the wires, I noticed a break on one, which turned to powder (corrosion) after stripping. When I got the wire too strong I used a small butt joint which fixed these lights and made them usable. I'm so glad I was able to fix it myself, those of you who don't have the time or mechanical skills I would choose a different brand of lamp. These lights are easy to assemble and completely rewire, so not a complete waste.
