Bought on the brand's recommendation that it completely eliminates the urine smell left by our dogs who repeatedly urinate on our living room carpet before we realized it. I didn't want to use it after getting a strong odor from the still sealed, unopened, in a zipped plastic back jar that came in the mail, but I continued to use it after the dogs had another accident. It was a terrible mistake. I used to grumble about the smell of dog urine in the living room. Now the whole house smells so bad of that nasty chemical that I'm only allowed to stay in a few rooms. I'll probably replace all the carpet and upholstery now to get rid of the smell from *this* product, although dogs will still be a problem. I was hoping this would help with dog pee odor until we got the dogs under control. Avoid. don't buy, don't use. When you buy something, do yourself a favor and sniff it first before you spill it on the carpet. If you choose to, this fragrance will be something you will live with for a long time.
