I'm tired of not having a kickstand for my new fatbike and unfortunately not all kickstands work due to the shape of the fatbike. I broke down and decided to take one of them, realizing that there are those with two connection points. I figured it would be a more secure mount. It was a little short between the connecting collars so I had to put it on the weld points and not the main body of the bars. But once I tightened it, it held tight. It's attached as securely as if it were part of a bicycle. In fact, I've sat on the bike with the footrest fully extended and put my weight on it, and it feels solid like it's going to take a long time to break or fall off. My bike has occasionally fallen over. , but after experimenting I found that if the bike is heavy and not on a flat surface, it can either pull the footrest or roll around until it falls over. This is not a stand, this is user error. This stand is more than good, if your bike falls you most likely did something wrong. I recommend adjusting the length of the footpeg so that the bike rests enough on it to distribute the weight more evenly between it and the wheels. . Too long and the bike will not lean enough to be stable, too short and the bike may accidentally tip over. You just have to experiment with your bike.
