Easy to install. Rock. Much more stable than the average frame. This was my fourth attempt at a running board that actually works. The first two featured an adjustable aluminum center mount. If you want to use a stand, you need this. I deliver food by bike in a crowded city. I have to make a lot of stops. Since there is a lot of weight distributed on my bike, a traditional kickstand won't work. The bike will fall. However, this stand will hold my bike no matter how the weight is distributed. And it's adjustable without trimming it.

It's sturdy and well built and would probably make a great stand if it fitted. Unfortunately I can't use it on my bike as the caliper assemblies are right where the top crossbar should be. If the top was longer or lengthened, I might move it a little closer to the bottom bracket. However, this is not an option. While I think it's worth buying if it fits, it's not compatible with TRP hybrid disc brakes, at least not on my Giant Anyroad. Keep in mind that this may not work for you.

Supplied without installation instructions. but it was pretty intuitive to set up. It took about 5 minutes. It's a bit wobbly but stable enough to hold my road bike with my panniers and touring gear. Whilst this is a versatile product I have had no luck installing it on my Diamondback Haanjo bike. It has disc brakes on the brake mount, which affects the proper installation of the top mount. This way I can only mount the top bracket on the side so the screw doesn't attach to anything on the back of the bracket. Fairly easy to install. Simply adjust the screws below in small increments so one part of the mount doesn't pull over the other. The protective components are made of hard plastic, so no metal on metal. My son's tire size is 27.5 and it's a GT bike. Fits well with many adjustments in between.
