Review on Comfortable And Water-Resistant Pet Recovery Collar: Adjustable Neck Donut E-Collar For Small And Medium Dogs And Cats After Surgery In Navy (Size S) by Matt Bokil

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A mix of good and bad

Got this to use in place of the traditional plastic cone after my dog had abdominal surgery. The good: It’s comfortable for him and allows him to eat, drink, sleep etc without running into things and flipping his water bowl over ( as happens with the plastic cone). The bad: 1. The string for adjusting the neck size frayed and broke on day one of using this product. Fortunately it fits my dog well as is, and he’s not interested in trying to remove it, so a bit loose is okay. 2. My dog is small and we’re in Oregon, so if he wears this outside, it ends up dragging in the wet grass. So I’ve been taking it off before we go out. 3. My poor little dog is having a rough time of it, and not really making any effort to reach and chew at his stitches. If he was, I’m not sure this collar would prevent him.
