This item was purchased ahead of and for the July holiday which then had to be cancelled. I made sure everything was working when I got it, which it did, then removed it. I recently had the chance to use it sparingly for a few days when one day the buttons just stopped working despite the device having power, indicated by the red "standby" light on the device. No matter what I did I couldn't get ANY buttons to turn on the display panel which would then show what function is being used. I am now out of $$$$ because my returns window is closed. With a limited income, there's nothing I hate more than throwing my money away. This would NOT happen
