I have 2 adult pit mix and am impressed. My girl is the taller of the two and also younger and stronger. I bought each of them one of these and an anchor hammer (anti-tangle, of course) for our camp and it worked like a dream. We then just took the leashes to the lake and my old man sat with me by the water, tied to a tree, and my girl went for a swim (we tied her leash to her regular leash for extra comfort and arm length). great time and we knew she was safe as was any animal that dared approach us. (Our trip was about a week ago and no sign of rust. The line was completely submerged.) Would definitely recommend and buy again. This length was great for our small campsite but I will be getting a longer one soon. The only issue we had was when my boy got out of his harness, which clearly has nothing to do with the leash itself. And when the other dog came towards us, my leg was burned by the leash rope, but it's a better result than what could have been. happened.
