Review on Original GM 12597172 Thermostat Housing for Engine Cooling by Stephen Walter
Faulty part, poor quality
Automotive replacement part failed quickly after installation. My analysis of this product showed that it is poorly made and not designed to withstand the demands of the engine. The one positive thing I can say is that it was easy to install. But that doesn't outweigh the negative of a faulty part that can cause serious engine damage. I do not recommend this product.
