Original GM 12597172 Thermostat Housing for Engine Cooling Review

Automotive replacement part failed quickly after installation. My analysis of this product showed that it is poorly made and not designed to withstand the demands of the engine. The one positive thing I can say is that it was easy to install. But that doesn't outweigh the negative of a faulty part that can cause serious engine damage. I do not recommend this product.

I am not satisfied with the purchase of my order! very misleading as to what you actually get! when he comes to your house! You don't get a hose or o-rings, very dissatisfied with the incorrect information, this part is only $30 not what is advertised! Shame on all those responsible.

The case itself is good quality, made in Canada. Problems - this one doesn't have O-rings like all the others. The biggest problem is that the picture they sell you shows the entire assembly with the intake manifold. This is a frankly misleading sale. They are intentionally misleading to make you think this is a good deal. Also the picture shows the tube, not the case. This is no deal again very deceptive. I ended up paying 20% more and then had to go to the gym supplier to buy a tube.
