Be careful if you still have swelling

I originally ordered a small one, but due to a slight swelling on my thumb after surgery 6 weeks ago, it fits well. I ordered Wednesday hoping it will be better. The medium fit my thumb well, but the rest of the brace was large enough to be uncomfortable due to the metal hitting the wrong places in the device. I was so disappointed. It may have been helpful if the description mentioned that you should be careful when ordering if you still have swelling after the operation.
