This is the second Ozeri electric bottle opener we have purchased but the first to run on batteries only. Our first battery. Ozeri has a great product at a very reasonable price. This particular model uses 6 AAA batteries for power and also has a half aluminum foil cutter that magnetically sticks to the top for cutting seals off the top of wine bottles. Using a foil cutter worked well, you have to press your thumb against the cutter and use your other fingers against the cutter to make a hole. Once the foil is removed, it's time to try the corkscrew! We placed the corkscrew over the neck of the wine bottle and pressed the down button. The corkscrew of the electric corkscrew has penetrated the cork and as long as you hold down the down button, it will also pull the cork out of the bottle! Once the connector is removed, press the up button until the connector is released. Overall this is a great product, especially for $9.95! I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
