The drive and controller appear to work properly when used with an Arris DCX3320e-M DVR. Plenty of space compared to the internal storage of the receiver. Still, it's very noisy, especially if you're using FF or FR with a DVR. I've tried it in different positions but it seems to be noisy no matter what position it is in. Second, while the color is nice, the blue activity light on the front is too bright and distracting as it's blinking most of the time. Easily removed with a piece of tape.
