So you've heard of weighted blankets but some of them seem overpriced right? Well, that was my thought too. I wanted a weighted blanket and after some research I bought this. I do not regret this purchase. This comforter is soft, warm and at 8 pounds perfect for a regular addition to your bed or for those nights on the couch. If you've never owned a weighted blanket before, I highly recommend you give it a try. Something about the size and flexibility of a decently weighted duvet made me fall asleep. There are no beads, no partial weights, the material itself is heavy and adds some thickness to the blanket. I will say if you sweat at night this might be a little warm for you but how can a standalone application fit! For a small price this is a must have. I know this blanket will make me want to buy a heavier one in the future out of curiosity, but for now it's perfect.
