Difficult to use, difficult to clean

This item looks great but works horribly. It looks more like a toilet comb than a toilet brush. After spraying on the bowl cleaner you will notice that there is very little contact between the bristles and the bowl. Rather, you will find the bristles combing through the detergent as if you were pulling the comb through the detergent that you might pour onto the countertop. The number of passes you need to make to remove all the cleaner from the bowl is more than three times that of cleaning the toilet. Now let's look at "heavier" jobs. What the brush removes in a few strokes, ALWAYS DO with this brush. And then the fact remains that this thing just shifted the problem from one place to another. Yes. Imagine. I brush, rinse, hold my head in the bowl and spray quickly before putting it back in the holder. And as far as a toilet brush can be considered clean, it's good. Not so with this brush. This greatly increased bowl cleaning time, and then it took even longer to get the brush head "clean" enough to remove. I really wanted this article to work better. I would return it but it's a toilet brush and it would be gross to do so. The only good thing I can say is that the water doesn't drip off the head, but it didn't help with normal cleaning, couldn't remove hard water stains, and wasn't able to clear the bowl of residue. All of this is easy to do with an old-fashioned brush.

Pros
  • Anti-clog design - wide spacing between bristles allows dirt to be flushed away easily
Cons
  • Can't remember
