There are different approaches to navigation phone car mounts. I've tried the ones that attach to the HVAC vent and window extractor. Both had problems. The idea of using the CD slot is brilliant. There is a pull tab to secure the holder and it feels very secure. The phone can be rotated for a better view. Better visibility and fewer problems compared to other methods.
