Review on 🎙️ Olympus WS-853 Voice Recorder with 8GB, Enhanced Voice Balancer, and True Stereo Microphone by David Perez

I bought this voice recorder to use with Dragon Naturally Speaking on the PC. I recorded about 45 minutes on it and transferred the files to Dragon. The transcription was perfect with no changes. I like the tape recorder. I would give it 4 stars except that the USB connector that comes out at the end of the recorder needs to be dangling from my laptop's USB port. I think this is bad design. I think that over time this will damage the internal solder joints on the laptop motherboard. To even prop it up to a connector on a laptop I had to use a ballpoint pen under the end of the recorder. I need a USB cable extension for a long term solution as you need to charge Li-ion batteries the same way you transfer files to your computer. Another issue is that it comes with a case. Don't be fooled by the Revain suggestion at the end of the description that suggests you buy other "accessories" with it.
