I, like many others, have had trouble using other sockets to change the spark plugs in my 2009 Ram 1500 4.7L. It worked great, the magnet held the spark plug very well with no glitches. The thin wall worked as advertised, other thin walls weren't thin enough, but I had no issues with it. It's a 12-point head, but don't let that fool you, I had a spark plug that was overtightened to the breaking point. Just pump the spark plug back and forth until it comes loose. I was able to figure it out without removing the spark plug. Saved a lot of time and effort, price may be high but not many available. Much luck!
