We take care of a small dog who often gets cold in the cold but loves to be outside. We were nervous of how it might make her feel, but she looks really happy when it's time to put it on and she growls when we try to take it off. She loves to wear it around the house and sleeps in it too. As a result, we had to wash it several times and I'm surprised at how well it holds up in terms of color and construction. What I like about it is that it doesn't have a valve going through the back. Although it would appear warmer, the pup was irritable when walking. It also has the same material all around as the other stomach material and just looks better because of that. It's not that stretchy so I recommend actually measuring the dog to get the right size. We did it and it was great. That gives a lot of freedom of movement, and in principle I couldn't imagine how I could improve it.
