My 3 year old saw this toy on a YouTube video and thought it would be great fun. I thought it would be really educational. We were both right. My daughter was delighted with this gift and still plays with it regularly months later. Her favorite game is to "hide" letters by throwing them across space, then "find" those objects (which are clearly visible), proudly tell us what the letters are, and then piece them together. She did this endlessly and it was fantastic for learning her alphabet and numbers. It also doubles as a great play mat when not in use. I have small improvements. I understand that die cutting has some limitations, but some of the letters are a bit oddly shaped, making them harder to see. My little one first insisted that the 4 was a triangle, and she's right that a big 4 looks a lot like a triangle! Not surprisingly either, there was a bit of a bad smell when we first opened the package. It was still exceptional value for money and it would be unfair to deduct a star for such small flaws. Thumbs up from the father and the kindergarten child.
