valves seem to be of very good quality. Flush mounting improves the look of your wheels. There is no risk of damaging the valve stem as there is none. The only snag is to make sure the valve position is on the outside of the rim, ie not behind the center of the wheel. In my case, the valve is behind the center piece. So if you are installing a tire inflation valve extension, you cannot install a shop air valve on the extension because the gap between the extension and the brakes is small, which is not possible with the factory air valve that fits on the extension. Therefore, the only way to inflate tires is to remove the wheel from the car.
