I bought this to warn us behind our house when my cognitively disabled mother tries to leave the house alone. I installed it on an outdoor PVC junction box with 2 switches to turn on the lights and horn separately, with a power cord to plug into a 'smart socket' which is wired to the door sensors. The light is bright enough to be seen day or night. The beeper in the bedroom is pretty loud, so I put a paper towel over the speaker inside the unit. Under the top sticker is a single screw that allows you to remove the access panels. Now that's right! Circuit diagrams were printed on the universal box, but not for this device. Gray is "general" (not "earth"), red turns on the light, purple turns on the beeper.
