Review on Pitstop Furniture FC230B Black Cabinet by Crystal Wille

The product looked great in online marketing and received great reviews. So I pulled the trigger by ordering one. When it arrived the closet was poorly packaged straight out of the gate. Styrofoam everywhere and dust on all parts of the gear. Typically, a product at this price is wrapped in plastic and then protected with foam. I spent more time cleaning than assembling. To my surprise, the colored panels of the cabinet were made from cheap pressed board with laminate-like plastic. The laminate is worn and scratched in many places from the factory. In addition, the bottom drawer, which is actually intended for storing files, does not fully utilize the depth of the storage cabinet. The box only holds half the files compared to the overall design of the box. Now the metal sides are well carved and nicely painted. But again, the gray metal walls were worn due to the packaging. The glass top is nice to the touch but is only attached to the body with 4 small suction cups that don't work very well. I am very upset that this item is not worth the money. Let's go back to Raven. I was really looking forward to incorporating this piece into my home office/den/garage.
