I bought these to fit my bike and clothes. There are several points to pay attention to. First, the EL wire plastic tube is very thin. about 1mm or so, and I have other species that are about 3mm in size that are lighter and more prominent. Second, out of the 7 I bought, 3 didn't work or worked for 10 minutes and then stopped working. The red indicator shows that the device is on and emits a high-pitched tone, but there is no indicator. and 3. it loses brightness fairly quickly. after a few hours of use, the brightness is less than half of what you see when the batteries are fresh. Didn't expect it to be light for just a few hours and need new batteries again. Overall for $3 each I think we get what we pay for. But now that I know the quality I would pay double to get a higher quality product, especially if you buy it for night safety and visibility, it won't work after the first night. Changing batteries is also not easy as they are made of cheap plastic and break quite easily. I hope you find it valuable.
