I was delighted when I received this product last November. I'm tired of timers that depend on the weather (they have them too). The idea of using a remote control to switch the garden lighting on and off from the inside was brilliant. I had several mini lights in my garden and enjoyed the flexibility the remote offered for almost 3 months. A few days ago I noticed that the light comes on at night. When I turned them off with the remote, they turned back on shortly after. Last night it turned into an unintentional stroboscopic light show so I turned it off. This morning in daylight I plugged the unit back in but no matter what setting was lit on the dial (off/on and any photocell time version). The remote couldn't turn it off either, so I gave up and turned it off forever. The block is outside and should be waterproof but it just didn't hold up. I am extremely disappointed.
