Really had trouble finding foaming hand soap in nearby stores. When I saw this option at Revain I was hesitant to try something new - I had to buy a foam dispenser just to use it and was concerned about storage, how well it foams etc. So here is my experience after I bought it looked at many foaming refills and soap dispensers. I bought a glass dispenser that has good reviews here on Revain. It's durable, and having spent a little more for a glass dispenser with a quality screw top and wide foam head, I know this gallon will last for many refills. My foam soap bottle was delayed en route but arrived in great condition. no leaks or signs of damage. The soap itself is thin because you have to put it in the foam dispenser. Do not try to use it as a soap, dilute it or use it as a disinfectant. This is a foaming soap so a foam dispenser is required to properly dose it. If you use it in a foam dispenser, you'll also find that this giant refill bottle lasts a long time. The foam produced is likely to depend on the quality of the blowing agent used. For me, the foam is very fluffy, but dense. One pump forms a generous mound that thoroughly lathers my hands. The foaming effect is crucial for dissolving dirt and grime on hands. It's also a more comfortable wash than regular liquid soap, in my opinion, and a lot less wasteful too. The smell of lavender is very strong and slightly artificial. Can't complain about that, but even after a good rinse, there's still a slight odor on the skin. So if lavender bothers you, this soap is not for you as it is definitely not subtle. At the same time, although I smell lavender, I don't have stains on my hands, and they creak more with cleanliness. . I was afraid it might dry out my hands but so far so good. 20+ washes a day at the moment and no irritation. Overall, I'm very happy with my investment in this gallon sosp filler and glass foam soap dispenser - such a great savings and much more environmentally friendly than buying 20+ commercial singles. Use bottles replacing it.
