I found this while looking for an alternative filter to replace my LG French door fridge, using the LT1000P. I bought this filter three times and each time I had to struggle more or less to install it in my fridge. Each time I have to push and turn hard enough to get this filter to snap securely into place. Eventually it was installed, but not without damaging the filter's internal locking mechanism. I'm afraid that repeating the setting too often with such force will damage my fridge. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the smell, taste and appearance of water, I consider them worthy.
