Overall a great product. The pens hold up well. What I noticed about our Jetta is that it welds in a split second. The instructions recommend 1/2 second to 1 second, but that's too long for thin metal. Not too happy with Magna-Wire. The 16 gauge felt too thin and broke before we could tighten it. Let's look at the 12 gauge. Recommendation: Tips kept falling out, especially with Magna-Wire. If you can use a stronger magnet, that might solve the problem. Also, the studs should be held on top of the welder, but barely held. Again, a stronger magnet should improve things. Encourage them to include 12 gauge magna wire in this kit.
