We bought a 36 inch 5 burner hob. In general I like them a lot. This is a huge improvement over the coils we've had before. when running and a bit of humming with some of the pots we use but nothing notable. I love the quick response and control it gives. My only benefit is that the rear center coil seems to be the same size as the others, despite having a larger circle around it. I have a 12 inch cast iron skillet that I cook almost everything in and it doesn't reach the edges of the pan at all. Even if I let the pan heat up longer, it doesn't cook the eggs or anything around the edges like my old one did.
