Terrible, terrible, terrible
Oh my god, that's terrible! First, wiping off the oil or applying tire polish once and then throwing it away, while wasteful, may suit your needs. I bought these because they were advertised as 100% cotton so I figured they would be absorbent. No, not a bit. So I thought maybe they need a gentle wash idea. I washed them with other rag towels and everything turned pink. Then it was time to dry those fresh pink towels. Wow, the lint filter was full and I'm still finding pink fibers in the lint filter. So, a quick review: I cannot recommend these towels.
