I have two of these beds. I had one and two dogs. They will try to sleep together in this bed because this is the favorite bed for both of them. They are small to medium sized dogs (a hound mix around 40lbs (2nd photo) and a dashdog mix around 20lbs) so they are good for both. (It also fits a 50-pound pit bull that I've been raising for a while). However, I would say a 50 lb dog is about the size of this bed. All these dogs loved these beds. (Including another 20lb adopted beagle dog. 3rd photo) I bought a second one to replace another bed as my two loved this one so much. (In the first picture my Dasha is rolling in the second bed when he realized it was his. Ha ha). They still sleep together sometimes, but that's because they love to cuddle. For the price, this bed can't be beat! My dogs are very spoiled and have about 7 beds but these are by far their favorites. I have an $80 orthopedic bed (since they are senior dogs) and they don't like it. More expensive beds are not always better! I will definitely buy the same bed in the future when mine gets too worn. I've had the first one for about a year and a half, it has survived several washes and is VERY well preserved. Some beds get lumpy. Not this one! Excellent quality bed!
