Review on INIKA Organic Brown Mascara 0 27 by Ann George

Delivered in beautiful outer packaging. It is black with gold and white lettering. The box is soft and matte to the touch. It says 100% natural. The packaging states that the product is made in Italy. The company is an Australian company. It has a vegan logo (see photo to see the logo). There is a logo without cruelty. It wasn't the jumping bunny I was used to so I looked up what the logo was (see photos to see the logo). This is CCF (Choose Cruelty-Free), an independent non-profit organization based in Australia that has been compiling the Cruelty-Free Choice List (CCF list) for Australian consumers since 1993. So it made sense to use this logo as they are based in Australia. The composition is indicated on the back of the box (see composition in the photo). The hose is matte black. It has a soft, smooth feel. It looks nice and smooth. It has golden inscriptions on it. The upper part is unscrewed. When you pull out the wand, something appears to get stuck in the tube before it comes out. I couldn't get it out at first and had to pull hard to get it out. Then, when you reinsert the stick into the tube, you will again feel the same area sticking. The second time I pulled out the wand it was a little easier, but I still felt the latch. I'm not sure what it's about. Maybe it's something that should remove excess product before removing the stick? I'm not sure. I have the shade black. The applicator is straight, nice and thin. I have very small, very closed eyes, so I always prefer smaller and thinner applicators. So I was glad that this one had a small, thin applicator! It applies well. It looks clumpy after 1 use so doesn't build up too well. I couldn't tell any difference in my lashes either. It didn't seem to help my lashes hold the curl after using the eyelash curler, nor did it lengthen them at all. Overall it's just not for me. If you are looking for a mascara that has good ingredients and gives your lashes a natural look - adding nothing but making them look black - then this mascara is for you. But if you want something that will lengthen your lashes or keep their curl after you've curled them, this isn't for you. If you want something that builds up without any lumps, this isn't for you.
