I wanted such a mount in the car so my daughter wouldn't crane her neck to see the tablet on long drives. It fits comfortably on your Kindle with a protective cover and can be expanded even further. In one of the images, I'm pointing to a dial that you rotate to make your hand stiff and stay upright at whatever angle you set it. Be aware that if you unscrew it too far the entire section it secures will fall off. My daughter did this once while we were traveling and it ruined the whole trip so "talk" about this watch face with your kids. You can adjust it up and down when it's "fixed" but then it feels sticky as you raise/lower it to different positions. My daughter has complained that she keeps bumping into it when she gets in her seat, but it's also behind the passenger seat which my husband pushes far back so there's less room to pull away. Overall it was very affordable and effective and I will likely buy again when the second child reaches the right age.
