Macally Adjustable Headrest Nintendo HRMOUNT Review

Bought two of these on a recent 10 hour trip. I wish I had done this much sooner. It was more convenient for children to look at the screens and not hold them in their hands. They are highly customizable and fit all types of devices we own (Kindles, iPads - mini and air - and iPhones). They are very easy to assemble and seem to be holding up. would recommend.

My 17 month old daughter is rear facing and her legs are too long to hold an iPad at her feet to watch movies in the car if needed, so a mount was long overdue. It's perfect and just what I was looking for. I needed a mount that I could still use with her mirror and one that could be fully customized to ensure it was secure. This product is awesome! I was able to install it on the back of the passenger side headrest for rear facing and also front facing for a rear facing car seat. As long as you have posts to install it on, I might consider this a universal app. The only downside of this product is that installed phones or tablets will slide off the grip as shown in the picture below. So this is a bit strange. First of all, the biggest problem is the size. It holds the tablet perfectly, but my smartphone's jaws are too big to grab it widthwise, so you have to grab it lengthwise, and it can barely keep up, meaning getting in and out of it BURNS A LOT. Maybe it's just me, but can we get one of these that works with a tablet case? Most people need a headrest mount for the device their kids are using. Most parents are smart enough to protect an expensive tablet in their child's hands. Most of these cases are moderately bulky. Cases like this just don't work with this mount. I wanted such a mount in the car so my daughter wouldn't crane her neck to see the tablet on long drives. It fits comfortably on your Kindle with a protective cover and can be expanded even further. In one of the images, I'm pointing to a dial that you rotate to make your hand stiff and stay upright at whatever angle you set it.
