I can't say enough about these sheets! Not everyone will be happy with any particular product, but I have more positives than negatives to say about these sheets. My bed is a queen with a 21" or 22" plush pillow top to bottom. Mattress only. I also have a thick mattress topper which makes them even thicker. These sheets cover everything and leave enough space! I practically don't break my wrists trying to tighten the corners. They are so deep that there is no struggle. I used to be unable to get sheets with deeper pockets just to wear a mattress with a thinner protector on top. Some people who don't have thick mattresses might think that the pockets are too deep and the sheet is loose. Read descriptions and reviews. Some sheets with a very deep pocket only fit 15" or 18" wide mattresses. Now to other aspects of these sheets. The top sheet is wide enough, hanging down at least 12 inches on either side, and long enough. I had these that only needed to be plugged in about 3 inches at the bottom. These sheets have a lot to fill in and make it look nice and safe. The colors are great and don't fade. I know they say to wash cold but for me it's either warm or hot! Washing at these temperatures didn't change color at all and they never wrinkle. Unless you leave them in the dryer for a few days or just roll them up to put away. They come out of the dryer wrinkle-free. They are so, so soft. Straight out of the box. No need to "break". I've had some that felt like sleeping on burlap! But not this brand! Yes, I tend to sweat at night. Some nights are worse than others. But everyone sweats and I won't blame the sheets! I sleep just as well on these sheets as I do on 100% cotton sheets. The quality is excellent. The two different edgings I had, lace and pleated, are attractive and hold up very well. Of course I occasionally find a loose thread or missing stitch in a hem, but having sewed a lot myself I know that this can easily happen. You are not important. I could secure it with a bit of needle and thread or just leave it alone. I bought 9 sets of these bedding. Some are twins and some are queens. My oldest is just over 2 years old and still looks great. The prices are fantastic even if they are not discounted. I paid double for the others and I really think it might have been the ones that looked like burlap! I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to buy new sheets. The advantages definitely outweigh the disadvantages! I liked 9 out of 9!
