I had high hopes for this foam when trying to furnish my garage. I found this to be a decent product overall, but there are some issues with it. First, the adhesive backing is very slick so trying to stencil each tool is a challenge as most markers don't stick and the only one I've found that works rubs off easily. Second, the foam is firm but difficult to cut with a blade. I didn't want to spend another $100 on a hot knife cutter, and honestly it's not easy to draw straight lines when you can barely see the line you're drawing (see issue one). Finally, the adhesive is excellent, but I did notice that when you removed the white backing, the layer came loose in a few places. In any case, everything is fine and now my tools are easier to find. I'm not a perfectionist, so odd cuts and curved lines are fine with me, and I'll probably use more of this material later. There really isn't a better option.
