My son started playing on the kids baseball team. After being hit by a wild punch that left a large black and bruise on his shoulder, he started getting nervous, getting up and punching again. We bought him this padded shoulder shirt to boost his confidence and it worked! We also wanted to give him extra soft protection because he's also a pitcher and we wanted to protect him when the ball hits him hard. We bought a shirt slightly larger so that it doesn't restrict freedom of movement. It does the job!
