Been using it for a week now. However, I will update the review in a few months if there are any changes. The only helmet I can compare this to is the oversized Bell 'Boss' helmet. It's a similar shape and size, but somehow it doesn't look like the giant mushroom cap on my head, like the bell. The large size fits a 23 1/2" round head much better than the boss. The large boss I have fits snugly on my head. To wedge it on the head you have to pull hard. Before I do the Got plus size I tried it, it was so loose on my head it was dangerous. So I chose the tight uncomfortable plus size as a compromise. The LS2 helmet is also about a third lighter than the Bell helmet. The chin strap has a convenient quick release already attached.I can't find a quick release from Bell Boss that doesn't require cutting, sewing or riveting. The top front vent works (can be opened or closed) and the fit and finish is great. There is a small amount of airflow where it always heats up the most. Finally, the fold-down visor is invisible when flipped up. It's also made of much better quality plastic than the Boss helmet. At first I thought it was too much air Trom to get behind the sign, but then I kind of got used to it. Maybe it was just my contact lenses that gave me trouble on that first ride. I would give the LS2 five stars but it's overpriced. Bell Boss now has a nice dry seat in the attic.
